We are proud to share that our English Debating Team has clinched another victory in the Second Preliminary Round of the 41st Sing Tao Inter-School Debating Competition!
This time, we faced Kiangsu-Chekiang College (Shatin) as the opposition, debating the motion: “Relaxing the alienation restriction period of Home Ownership Scheme flats in Hong Kong brings more harm than good”. Our team secured a decisive score of 3-0.
The team this time comprised 11D TSOI Shing Hin, 10B LAU Ka Ki and 10C LEUNG Yan Yuet. They demonstrated incredible resilience and teamwork, effectively balancing the competition with their exam preparations.
Additionally, 10B LAU Ka Ki was awarded the Best Interrogative Debater Award and 10D LEUNG Yan Yuet earned the title of Best Debater. Congratulations to both awardees and the entire English Debating Team!
