Hong Kong Baptist University is a public-funded tertiary institution with a Christian education heritage. Founded in 1956, the University seeks to create an educational experience that is holistic in nature, and is committed to the 'whole-person education' ethos which aims at nurturing students to become well-rounded in their intellectual, professional, physical and moral development.

Hong Kong Baptist University, as a community of scholars, is committed to a distinctive mission of higher education which incorporates teaching, research and service, and which inculcates in all who participate, a sense of value that extends beyond the mere acquisition of knowledge. Message from the President and Vice-Chancellor

Welcome to the Hong Kong Baptist University Affiliated School Wong Kam Fai Secondary and Primary School (A-School).

Founded in 2006, A-School is the realisation of a vision of Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU) to provide a 12-year through-train primary and secondary education. It was the first school of its type to be associated with a university in Hong Kong, and it proudly echoes the University's ethos of a whole person education and its focus on developing creative, caring and global students.

While the idea for A-School first emerged in the 1990s, it took the great efforts of a number of dedicated people to bring it to life. Notably, we are hugely grateful to the HKSAR Government and Mr Wong Kam-fai for their support and invaluable contributions.

Thanks to its staff of devoted and professional educators, A-School provides an inspiring and enriching learning environment for its students. With an emphasis on broadening their horizons and developing their world knowledge, the well-designed curriculum helps produce civic-minded and global-centric students who are spiritually mature, wise and informed. The School's remarkable accomplishments in terms of student performance and the development of well-rounded students illustrate the benefits of this holistic approach, and it will continue to reap the rewards of this focus as it moves forward in its pursuit of further excellence. Based on our shared founding principles, I am sure that HKBU and A-School will continue to work closely together to develop students who are ready to thrive in the modern world.
