Our student Lo Sum Yau Jovi delivered an outstanding performance at the 2026 Asia International Exchange Music Competition for Young Artist held on August 21 at the Rode Arts Centre, earning 2nd Place in the Violin Solo (Ages 15 or Under) category! 🥈
In addition to competing, Jovi participated in an enriching music camp, attending masterclasses led by distinguished mentors Mr. Anders Hui and Korean Professor Pil Kyun Paul Kim. Through expert guidance on violin technique and deep musical interpretation, alongside chamber trio and orchestra ensemble sessions, she refined her musicianship while collaborating with fellow passionate young artists from around the region.
Reflecting on her experience, Jovi shared that learning advanced sound production techniques and receiving clear guidance for her future practice made the journey deeply rewarding. Beyond honing her craft, she cherished the opportunity to build lasting friendships with like-minded musicians.
These remarkable achievements highlight Jovi’s extraordinary dedication and musical talent. We extend our heartfelt congratulations on this outstanding success! 👏🏻
