The new academic year began with an uplifting School Re-opening Ceremony, filled with warm welcomes, and inspiring words. It was a morning of celebration and encouragement, setting a hopeful tone for the journey ahead.

Our Senior Vice Principal (Head of Primary Division), Mr. Kelvin Lee, delivered a heartfelt speech, warmly welcoming our new Grade One students and encouraging everyone to embrace curiosity, pursue excellence, and support one another in our A-School community.

We also celebrated the achievements of our graduate from the Class of 2026, LIU Annie, who received both the Scholarship of Upward Mobility for Excellence and the Dr. K.K. Wong Scholarship for Excellence. Annie has been admitted to the Bachelor of Chinese Medicine programme at the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine and will be leaving Hong Kong tomorrow to begin her studies. Her success is a shining example for all of us as we strive toward our own goals.

The ceremony further highlighted the outstanding accomplishments of our students across diverse fields. In the URC 2026 Idea Contest, our team proudly captured the Champion title, while at the HK AI Innovators Summit, they earned the Gold Award in the AI Education Engineering Category and went on to secure the Grand Award in the Primary Division with their innovative “Homework Robot”. Musical and athletic talents also shone brightly, with remarkable victories at the 10th Taiwan Asian Aegean Sea International Music Competition Taipei Grand Final and the Wu Kwon Taekwondo Championships 2026.

The ceremony concluded with a heartfelt reminder from Rev. Florence Ho of City One Baptist Church, who encouraged our students to have courage and faith, knowing that God is always with us.

A huge thank you to everyone who made this ceremony so meaningful, and special gratitude to our Chief Principal, Dr. Benjamin Chan, MH, and our Secondary School Principals for joining us. Here’s to a year of growth, achievement, and shared success!
